Bedroom furniture by Huelsta gives an unlimited amount of decorating ideas. Bedrooms in warm and natural colors are great place to relax and recharge. Thanks to modernism of Huelsta collections such bedrooms are also great addition to houses decorated in most styles. You can’t say the same about Maura Taft decorating even though it doesn’t look worse. We spent most of our time in bedrooms with closed eyes, but despite of that waking up in warm decorated bedroom will be better and more refreshing than waking up in colorful bedroom for most people. Some people of course think that colorful bedrooms are more modern and choose them but Huelsta has furniture for such people too.

Eco-Friendly Interior Design From the Red Hot and Green Team

Published by i2n under , , on 7:29 PM
Here is the great ideas to Creating a sustainably in a healthy space that’s good for you and great for the environment. The Red Hot and Green design team of Carter Oosterhouse and Nicole Facciuto think they have what it takes to achieve the goals. The Red Hot and Green design team have completed the interior design renovation in every space of this house while staying eco-friendly. Please take a look..!
Eco friendly Old World Romance Bedroom

The bed has been rearranged to now be the focal point of the room. It makes a dramatic and bold statement with the four posters, made out of reclaimed wood by Carter. Reclaimed dressers flank the bed, and the concept of a modern French room is grounded in reclaimed curtains from the penthouse suite of a local hotel. The print on the fabric of the curtains is continued on accent pillows and cushions atop the benches at the end of the bed to tie the new look together nicely.

The dramatic, new faux-stone backsplash gives the kitchen a natural, earthy feel. More counter space is added with a bamboo peninsula, and a new faucet tops it off. Additional cabinets are brought in to match the old ones that stayed in the space, and all are freshened up with crisp new hardware. Carter redoes the floor in an eco-friendly cork material for the finishing touch.

Fresh paint in contrasting shades of brown, red and white give the space a more current look. Instead of sending all that old tile to the landfill, Carter re-faces it with stunning new eco-friendly surfaces that have a slight sparkle. New, low-flow fixtures and a bamboo floor complete the transformation.
Eco-friendly Hip and Zen Dining Room

The rich chocolate-brown dining table is repositioned to create a better flow throughout the room and now has enough chairs surrounding it to seat eight. In the lower wall niche, (at right) Carter built a buffet table out of bamboo shoots that doubles as a display shelf and serving piece. The 24-foot-high wall of windows is covered with floor-to-ceiling curtains, which give the room much-needed texture. A repurposed chandelier is put in place of the old one and raised much higher to emphasize those great high ceilings. Finally, the old carpet is gone, and in its place is a painted-concrete floor covered in several repurposed doormats.
Eco-friendly Multifunctional Living Area

Now there is plenty of room to work, play and relax. Carter put in two desks (not pictured), one each for the mother and son of the house, which create a nice flow throughout the front of the room. Nicole treated the French door so the light isn’t so bright when Mom works, and the existing bookshelves got a fresh coat of paint and are now actually used for storage.
Eco-friendly Dual Purpose Gathering Space

Carter built a stage (behind the chairs on the cream-colored wall) for the young girls of the house to practice and put on performances. When not used for entertaining, this area doubles as a place to study. All it takes is a simple rearranging of the new chairs. Extra touches, like the musical notes painted on the wall with nontoxic paint and hemp curtains that provide a splash of color, finish off the design.
Eco-friendly Reorganized and Repurposed Office Room

There are now desks in each corner of the room for Mom, Dad and the kids. The dark paint (nontoxic, of course) adds much-needed color to the space and will hide nicks and stains well. At left is a repurposed TV armoire that is flanked with storage cabinets to create one piece. On the back side of it is a brand-new living space, complete with a linen sleeper sofa, fresh lighting and an entire wall of storage for the kids’ art, DVDs and guest needs.
Eco-friendly Cozy Serene Bedroom Sanctuary

An eco-friendly wall veneer in rich chocolate brown replaces the rough wood. The padded green headboard and fresh cream-colored bedding create a calm, soothing atmosphere. New wall sconces and carpet complete the look.
Eco-friendly Cheerful Sunny Kitchen

Nicole and Carter ripped out all the dark-wood cabinetry and flooring and started fresh with this room. The new cabinet layout is much more open and makes the room seem larger. The crisp white paint brightens up the room considerably, and energy-efficient, stainless appliances, modern lighting, new flooring and recycled-glass countertops give the space a sleek look. The bamboo butcher block creates a focal point in the center of the island, which is both a prep space and an eating/homework area.
Eco-friendly Beautifully Sustainable Master Bath

The Red Hot and Green team breathed vibrant new life into this space. The new vanity and tub face-out was crafted with Forest Stewardship Council (www.fscus.org) — harvested wood and backed by earth-friendly vinyl siding that adds great texture. Natural stone sinks sit atop the vanity, and beneath it is a mini wine refrigerator and coffee maker, for an added touch of luxury. The walls are now covered with a natural clay product, and the carpeted floor has been replaced with sustainable cork flooring.
Eco-friendly Multifunctional Garage Gateway

The soft new colors and textures work together to create a harmonious place that the adults and children can all enjoy. The materials used in transforming this garage — the natural-fiber flooring and hemp bean bags, for example — are healthy for children and easy on the environment.
Eco-friendly Chic Cabana

Check out the Hendersons’ new backyard pad. A fresh new coat of paint, new bamboo awning and furniture from recycled plastic transform this space into a laid-back tropical getaway. Off the patio is a series of composite decks that lead up to an amazing lounge featuring two outdoor couches covered in eco-friendly fabrics and a reclaimed metal firepit.

Decorating your bedroom can be a great way to give your self a tranquil retreat, yet so many people neglect this room. Often times people focus on the public rooms of the home – the kitchen, living room and guest bathroom but the bedroom is your own private sanctuary and you owe yourself to decorate it!

If decorating your bedroom seems like an overwhelming task, you might want to take it easy and make small changes over a period of time instead of one huge change. On way to ease yourself into decorating the bedroom is to start with the walls. Artwork can make a huge difference in the look of your bedroom and is one decorating idea that you can easily reverse if the look doesn't work.

What is the first thing you notice when you walk into someone's home? The walls, right? Walls enclose the home, giving a thematic impression. So, if your walls are empty you've got to get to work to populate them. Wall hangings can be expensive, but that's only if you purchase something by a famous dead artist. You can create your own artwork without any art instruction whatsoever. First, you have to consider your theme. If you have a Victorian, feminine or shabby chic bedroom theme then you will want floral or feminine artwork. A modern bedroom theme will look best with prints in sleek frames. A tropical look? Then get some jungle style prints or prints of exotic animals and birds.

Do you have hundreds of pictures and just don't know what to do with them? If the idea of a personalized bedroom picture wall appeals to you, you could arrange the photos into a huge wall photo collage. Examples include pictures of exotic places, weddings, and children growing up. If there is a teenager in your home, their bedroom is probably home to a huge collection of music CDs. They can create their own wall collage using the cover art from their CDs. Although you will have more fun creating your collage yourself, there are companies that will take care of this for you. The cost ranges from about $50 for an 8x10 to $150 for a 20x24 wall collage.

If your bedroom contains foliage, you might want to consider pressing leaves or flowers and framing your work; the best of these are flat. You basically place the leaves or flowers in a book to allow them to dry flat. They are ready for your wall hanging when they become crisp. This shouldn't take longer than a week or two. After the items are pressed, you will just need to mount the artwork and hang it on your wall.

Using bedroom interior designs are becoming more and more popular because people are realizing the power of using a good interior design.

Also you know that we spend most of our life in the bedroom, because it is where we sleep in and also rest or even work sometimes. So the design it has will have a big effect on our mental and physical health.

Here are some important factors to bring to attention in your bedroom interior design...

1. Lighting:

Light has a very huge impact on your mood and energy when you are in your bedroom. For example, have you noticed you feel more active and energetic during day time when sunlight is still there?

Well, it is because light increases your energy. On the other hand, at night we mostly feel we need to relax and not be super active.

So the lighting you use in your bedroom interior design, how much it is, and also the color of it is very important.

2. Wallpapers and Floors

The color and design of your walls and floor is also another effective factor.

3. Objects and Furniture

The furniture you put in your bedroom - like your bed, desk, decorations, etc. - has a big effect on the look and feel of your bedroom.

So by following all the three important factors, you can easily create the mood and interior design that you wish in your bedroom.

Also the mood that you want to give to your bedroom is very important too and you should choose all the colors and objects based on that. For example for a romantic room and interior design, you can use red colors in the floor or walls.
